Meet the Team

Nate Presley has more than 25 years of experience in the senior living industry. For years, he worked as a nurse and directly tended to the needs of the residents before taking on different roles throughout the industry, including roles as a unit manager and a director. As the executive director for Sage Valley, he is working with a team of professionals who are truly exceptional at what they do.  

His favorite aspect of working in senior living is what he calls “the human experience.” He believes that, through our lives, we experience situations and gain knowledge and insight that is unique to us as individuals. Getting to know people, their stories and their experiences is what he enjoys the most and motivates him in his position with Sage Valley. 

Taylor Thomas, the director of Sales and Marketing at Sage Valley, has worked in the senior living industry for eight years. She has held many roles in that time, including caregiver and executive director, before finally landing on sales and marketing. She views every day as an opportunity to make a difference in our residents’ lives.  

Taylor is a foodie and enjoys participating in any sort of outdoor activity in her spare time.  

Tammy Faber is the Business Office director at Sage Valley. After being raised by her grandparents for a few years, Tammy became very passionate about seniors and, as a youth, volunteered in long-term care facilities to provide activities for the residents. Several years ago, she had the remarkable experience of being her grandmother’s caregiver. Tammy feels blessed that her children got to be close to their great-grandmother during this period.

Tammy received a master’s degree in health care administration and also is a certified dementia practitioner. She has worked with several different senior living communities in central Texas and has developed great relationships with the residents at each community. The opportunities that Tammy has had in both her personal and professional lives have provided her with a passion for senior living, and she looks forward to serving this community in Pflugerville.

Tammy currently lives out in the country surrounded by her family. Her hobbies include crafts, gardening, reading, cooking and enjoying living the quiet life out in the country.

Brian Babauta brings over 19 years of experience to the position of Building Services director, including several years spent in custodial services and as a resident manager. He has always been passionate about helping people and wanting to learn new things, and takes pride in his work.  

Fun fact, Brian is originally from the beautiful island of Guam!
